Our Small Harvest

This small little pear tree was loaded full this summer. We had 20 good sized pears that turned out. I planted this pear tree about 3 years ago. This was the first year it produced fruit. By the time I took pictures of this little tree there were only 8 pears left. We had picked its fruit a few times before this last pick. When all 20 pears were on the tree the branches were hanging down
and hardly looked like it could make it much longer bearing all that load. Each time a pear was picked the branch would spring back up. It reminded me of how I feel sometime. I am only one small little tree trying to hold up all my fruit! More then I can bear??? NO, God does not give us more then we can bear! All our fruit that we produce is our blessings from out Heavenly Father.

In this picture you can still a branch or 2 still drooping down but still holding up its fruit on its tiny little branches no bigger then a stick and its tiny little trunk, but it still was able to produce 20 good size eatable pears.
Part of our harvest. The last bunch picked. It reminds me of our family (+ 1). They are all different sizes and differnt shades but all a gift from the Lord.

John 15:1-8
1. I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.4. Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up , thrown into the fire and burned. 7. If you remain in me and my word remains in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you. 8. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
