The bubbling spring that Ponce de Leon found. The water is full of minerals. Tasted pretty yucky to me. He thought he tasted sweet.
The marker that Ponce de Leon left in 1513 when he landed in St. Augustine. He was the first to discover the US.
Joel hanging with the Indians, they were very tall. They could grow as tall as 7 ft. and lived up to 90 old. That is why Ponce de Leon named it the Fountain of Youth. To him it was miracle water. Back then the Spanish were only reached in the 4 ft.'s and lived to be 30-35 yrs. old. He loaded up 3 ships full of water to take back to Spain with him and ended up living to be 65 which was very old for a Spaniard in the 1500's. So maybe it is the water !?!?!?

After our tour we came out into a park area where they had nuts in candy machines to buy for .25 cents. Karlton got a hand full and then all the little squirrels started coming out of the wood works. Joel was the first to feed one. Then Karlton and I had a turn. We had so much fun that we did this for the next 40 mins.

What great pictures you took!! I love the close ups of the animals and how cool that the squirrels let you feed them!! I'm so glad you had a great trip!
