FFF (yesterday's post)

I took the 3 little ones to see the Easter Bunny yesterday. This was the first time Lilee was not afraid. She walked right up to him and sat on his lap!

I don't blame her for being afraid, a big giant Rabbit is a bit scary, to me anyway, my daughter has no fear of things like that but I used to have my mom hang a sign on my door to tell the easter bunny to leave the basket outside of my room, because that giant rabbit is what I picture and it freaked me out.; April 4, 2009 at 6:47 AM

Verses that really spoke to me and helped me get through our adoptions.

(John 14:18) " I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you."

(Isaiah 43:5-6) "Do not be afraid, for I am with you,
I will bring your children from the west. Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth."

(Proverbs 25:25) "As cold water is to a thirsty soul : so is good
news from a far country."

(Matthew 6:25-34) The do not worry chapter.
This is the chapter that told me we would adopt again and the
baby girl woud be named Lily (Lilee). "The lilies of the field".
This is a great reminder of why we should not worry, God will take care of his people!

(Psalms 82: 3-4) "Defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Resue the weak and neady; deliver them from the hand of the wicked."

(Psalms 68: 5) "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling."
