Sara Ava's Day At The Dentist

Sara Ava had her tooth pulled today. Everything went well and she did fine. It went pretty quick. They did not even had to medicate her only numb it. She is soooo BRAVE!!Thank You for your prayers they worked.!!They said it needed to come out because it was full of infection. They drained her absess but will take several months for it to go away because it is a scar tissue. The Dentist said he does not want to put a spacer or fake tooth in, but we will have to keep an eye on it. My child will be toothless for the next 3 years. Now I have 2 missing the same tooth.

She is very excited about the Tooth Fairy coming tonight.

I Finally Got To Donate.....

to the Locks of Love!!!! I let my hair grow out really long a couple of years ago to donate and they would not except my hair because it was high lighted but they except highlighted hair now so after they took of my 10 inches I got it styled and cut off about 3-4 more inches. Here is the final product. It is really strange for me to have hair this short , I have had long hair for a while now.


The front is longer then the back I had it cut in an angle.

Jordan said " you do not look like my mom", and Sara Ava said " You look like we got a new mommy and you look cute", Lilee and Joel just agreed.

Last week I noticed that Sara Ava had a bubble on her gum over her top right tooth. It is pretty freaky looking. I tried to get her into the dentist Friday and they were closed. I took her to the Dr. on Saturday becauseI was afraid it was absessed from where she had her teeth worked on a year ago. The Dr. said not to worry about it it should take care of itself and to keep( doing what I was doing) putting watered down peroxide on it to keep it clean. She had a 99.9 degree fever that he said did not pertain to the bump on her gum. But my mommy instint said other wise. I asked for an antibiotic for infection because there was a little puss and blood that had come out of it. He said she did not need one. I stuck with my mommy instinct and took her to the dentist on Tuesday they said it is absessed and it needs to come out! (Waaaaa!) And sent us strait to a pediatric dentist an hour away because she is to tiny to give her any medicine. I also asked the dentist doesn't she need an antibiotic and she said no. So we go to Dr. #3. He says yes it is pretty bad and needs to come out but because of the infection she has to have an antibiotic first. GRRR!! Sara Ava has to have her top front tooth pulled on Tuesday. She is only 4 1/2 and has about 3 yrs until the permanent tooth comes in. I asked if they can put a false tooth in and they said they would not. GRRR! But for my fear of it closing up the gap and so my child does not have to walk around toothless for 3 yrs. we will shall see who wins this battle!!!! The moral of this story is to always trust your mommy's instinct. That is why God gave it to us!

Please pray that all goes smoothly and that it does not hurt or scare her because she loves going to the dentist. Also pray this infection goes away.

My FFF ( a little late)

I forgot to post this picture yesterday but here it is. This was taken a few weeks ago and I wanted a picture taken with my 2nd oldest son Josiah. He was taking our pictures on our Ann. for us and I decided to get one with him and I was hugging and kissing on him. The picture says it all.

Joel Lost A Tooth

Joel At The Panther's Fan Fest!

Karlton took Joel to the Panthers Fan Fest this morning. He is our Panther Fanatic! He can tell you all their names and #'s. His Favorite is Steve Smith but he was not there today, GUESS WHY?!!! Joel was really bummed too! The other boys had a chance to go too but chose not to, so it was just Joel and his Dad!
