Recipe for the Bacon, Cheese, and Potato Chowder

Joel helped me cook last night , I think that is why it taste so good!

(My loaded up soup)

As requested by Heather..... It is very simple to make, and I promise you it is just as good or better then the ones you can get at Tony Roma's (mmmm) or Apple Bee's.

Ingredients:

(I doubled this recipe to feed my army)

Serves about 9-10

~6 cups of fat-free milk

~2 cans condensed cream of potato soup

~1 bag of Southern-style hash browns (frozen)

toppings

~shredded sharp cheddar cheese

~whole pack of fried bacon (crispy) drained

~green onions thinly slided

mix milk and soup in a large pot. stir in has browns. bring to a boil, stir frequently so it does not burn on the bottom (easily burns). reduce heat to med-low, simmer until the potato's are soft,

stir frequently.

Add as much or as little of the toppings to your soup. We like to stir ours up to get the cheese all melted and mixed in. I load my up. the more the better. MMMMM....

Great served with French Bread. Enjoy!
